Passionate in Philanthropy and Creating Empowering Tees

Raised in Newark, NJ and subsequently relocated to California, the founders of Wifey Material bring a touch of New York flair and LA flavor to their line of products that include empowering tees. The concept of Wifey Material emanated in childhood from Kyle’s eternal love for his sweetheart Jeannette. Kyle literally spoke into existence that Jeannette would be his wife during their childhood courtship in grammar school. Although both dated others throughout high school and college, they each eventually found their way back to their first love. Years later, when they were engaged, Jeannette designed a t-shirt for Kyle proclaiming “Property of Wifey” which received much attention and sparked commentary from onlookers everywhere Kyle wore it, prompting the launch of Wifey Material. 

Kyle’s past work experience as a social worker underscores the involvement of Wifey Material in philanthropic activities. Kyle attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in N.Y.C. majoring in Fashion Design. Prior to marrying Kyle, Jeannette survived domestic violence, serving as an impetus for the involvement of Wifey Material in various initiatives specifically related to empowering women and girls. Jeannette was formally trained as an engineer, has made a career as a strategic business partner in the field of Human Resources, and is a certified Yoga Instructor, bringing a wealth of experience in serving others to Wifey Material.
